Y laisser la voiture. 3h aller depuis la partie la plus élevée du village (mais on parvient en 2h1/4 à un coup d'œil remarquable sur l'Uomu. Sans difficulté majeure, avec cependant quelques passages raides, cette randonnée offre des points de vue superbes sur la vallée, la montagne de Cagna, les chaos granitiques et le maquis Il est impératif d'apporter sa réserve d'eau. La partie centrale du massif est couverte par les sapins centenaires de la foret de Cagna. La Punta d'Ovace 1340 m, point culminant, porte le célèbre Uomo di Cagna *, étonnant rocher sphérique en équilibre sur une pointe de granit.
